Yes, I've poked around some big affiliate marketing forums, but in general, have been rather nonplussed by them. What is the real function of these forums? Is it to actually inform the readers of these forums with information that will help take their business to a new level of success, or is it simply to sell affiliate products to other marketers?
Unfortunately, much of what I've seen fits into the later category. Everyone is pushing their products on everyone else. I wonder if any of these guys even make a living affiliate marketing or do they just make a living ripping off and repackaging other marketers already crappy info products? If you've ever walked away from one of these forums with a lighter wallet and a rather sore behind, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Pity the poor noob at these forums. They are led to believe that they absolutely NEED to buy every "special" offering in these forums or they will be doomed to live in their mama's basement FOREVER. Why without Guru X's new training course, there is no way they will ever make their first dollar! Even worse, if the poor noob DARES ask a question, about how to do something, not about what to buy, they are flamed so hard and so fast that you can almost feel the splash of their tears bouncing back at you off the page.
God, what an insane business model. Fleece and demean your customers. Yeah, that is the best way to gain trust and referrals, isn't it? Isn't this just old and rather sad as well?
I am so glad that I found an affiliate marketing forum that doesn't push products, or hype, and in fact, NO AFFILIATE LINKS are allowed to be posted by any of the forum members. The moderators are paid at this forum, so that they won't try to secretly foist their own products and affiliate links on you. Instead of endless over-hyped sales pages, you get solid training in the fundamentals of affiliate marketing through written and video tutorials. Ask a question, and you won't be flamed, or ridiculed at this forum, and your question is likely to be answered by the owner of the forum himself, often within minutes of posting.
Is your forum doing all of this for you, or merely helping themselves to your hard-earned cash? Maybe it's time for a change?
The training at my forum, My Affiliate Apprentice has brought me to the point that several of my sites make $100 each per month in Adsense alone. What has your affiliate marketing forum done for YOU lately, other than rape your wallet and ruin your self-esteem?
Experience the difference now and get the help you need and deserve. Being able to relax, get one-on-one coaching and trust the folks within a forum makes a world of difference. Try it now!
